Hard Hat Tour of the Manta Construction Site!
Today I was invited out to Sea World for another special construction site Hard Hat Tour. The tour began at 11 am and lasted tell 12 pm. After our check in we were given Manta hard hats to keep and then we entered the work site. First we got a look at the ending of the ride where the water splash will happen and the water fall flyby will be. We were then escorted inside the Que house for a look at the work being done around the tank area and all the rock theme getting done. After which it was back outside for a look at the front half of the roller coaster. We could walk pretty much where ever around the site. The site is coming along nicely and you can start to tell where the outside ponds will go and how the ride will interact with its surroundings.
The trains are on site but Sea World felt it best not to release any photos of the trains so no train photos. Below are 56 photos from the construction tour showing pretty much anything of interest. It was an awesome day and many Thanks to Sea World for the invite. Lots of photos and a video are below.
