Today I had a chance to spend that last day of summer at Dollywood to catch a few rides on all the roller coasters at the park. My main reason for the trip was to get some rides on Wild Eagle a wing coaster built by B&M. While in the area I took a look at the construction happening for the new roller coaster called Fire Chaser. Then headed for a few rides on Mystery Mine and Thunderhead then back across the park to hit a few rides on the Tennessee Tornado. While at the park I made a stop at the Roller Coaster Museum and Archives which has a small display area set up so people can see some of the kinds of things going to the museum. The museum is a long term project with its base out in Texas where most of the stuff is in storage. Overall it was a great day with low crowds making for lots of rides on all the great roller coasters.
