Today I had time to stop in at ZDT's Amusement Park in Seguin, Texas for some rides on the awesome Switchback wooden roller coaster. The park is a small family fun center with video games, a few thrill rides, go carts and the only wooden shuttle roller coaster. The roller coaster itself is a fun ride with a lift hill, good first drop and lots of twists and turns. During the mid section of the ride you go up the only 90 degree spike on a wooden roller coaster. You then proceed to run the course in reverse giving a great ride both forward and backward. The ride also incorporates several hills and a 90 degree banked turn. Overall its a fun roller coaster with some unique elements, cool railroad theme and an aggressive ride. ZDT's is a great little park with a fun coaster and a few other fun things to do.
