Event Details
Media Day and the announcement of a new roller coaster Kraken a floorless coaster built by B&M. At 9:30 am the event began as around 50 members of the Florida Coaster Club arrived for the days activities. Great display with a large dragon and dancers followed by a short burst of fireworks along with a train load of mimes to finish off the Grand Opening. The best way to torture a mime is to send them on a roller coaster into the dragons lair. We received 4 hours of Exclusive Ride Time on Kraken, great badges and a free lunch. I was able to ride Kraken 47 times on Media Day. Some photos below of Kraken and the mimes courtesy of Sea World.
