Time once again for the annual Spring Fling event at Six Flags Over Georgia hosted by the Southeast region of the American Coaster Enthusiast. The event began with a 7:30 am check in and pick up of my registration package. The morning schedule was to have the Georgia Scorcher first followed by Goliath after about a half hour however there was a problem this year with temperatures in the low 40s. The park had stated they would not operate the coasters under 45 degrees. To my surprise one of the park staff came out and informed us that the coasters would open around 8:45 am as the temperatures were in the safe zone. So I headed straight to Goliath were I would spend my 1 1/2 hours of Exclusive Ride Time. The club gathered for lunch which consisted of catered in Chicken, rolls, salad and chocolate cake for desert.  Part of this years event was the retirement of the regions ACE representative Robert Ulrich was stepping down after more then 10 years service. The event ended with another 1 1/4 hour of ERT on several more of the roller coasters at Six Flags and I spent all of my time on Goliath. Total rides for ERT were in the 40 to 50 ranges with continuous re rides. Below are various photos from around the park. This year Batman the Ride received a new blue on dark blue color scheme so I decided to highlight Batman this year. Also below are some photos of Mindbender, Georgia Scorcher and a few photos of Goliath.
