Event Details
The Media Day event started at 6:00 am. A brand new roller coaster DeJa Vu makes it's debut. Three hours of ride time along with an hour break for a continental breakfast. Six Flags Over Georgia made the announcement at 10:00 am. The new roller coaster stands 197 feet tall and a total of 6 inversions while riding inverted style. More ride time followed with lots of media photos and interviews. We were served lunch and then a last few rides and Media Day was over. The roller coaster officially opened on Saturday September 1, 2001. Some photos below from the event.
