Today I had time to stop in at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas for some rides on Batman 4D and the amazing Iron Rattler roller coasters. Gates to the park opened at 2:00 pm so I headed straight for Batman. Got in line and in no time I was taking a seat on this amazingly fun 4D roller coaster. Up the lift you go facing forward or backward and into the first line of flipping rolling mayhem. The ride takes you for a bit of a surprise as I thought it was a free spin. Turns out its more of a forceful free spine type of experience. Back and forth you go with lots of spinning and hanging then more spinning and tons of laughing. Within my short time I was able to ride 8 times both sides, front and back as the park was not very crowded. Up next it was time to traverse the park and make my way to the awesome Iron Rattler roller coaster. Into the queue house for a short wait and it was time for a ride as I hoped in the front see for my first spin. Up the lift and headed for the first drop with a short pause and we were off. The first drop is amazing has a steep 81 degree drop with a little side turn. Down through the tunnel and up the cliff walls for a turn around. Down another awesome drop and into a flat spin up on top of the cliff wall again. Couple of cool sideways spots and down another big drop and into the tunnel and out to the brakes. The ride is amazing, provides a great smooth ride and has some great drops. Overall it was a short couple of hours to get some rides on a couple of amazing roller coasters.
