Time for a little sea-side fun at Playland Park located in Rye, New York. Around 100 members of the American Coaster Enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of there wooden roller coaster called the Dragon which opened in 1930. The event began with an hour of exclusive ride time on Kidde Coaster a small wooden roller coaster that adults are not usually allowed to ride. Our ride time also included a new roller coaster at the park called Super Flight an inverted flying coaster and the Crazy Mouse roller coaster opened up early for added morning rides. We were allowed front of the line access for the first rides on the Dragon roller coaster and during the day the club was doing a Mini Marathon on the Dragon with 75 rides in a row. We also received multiple buy-one get-one free coupon ride ticket books as well as free parking for the days event. All and all the event was great and everybody had a great time at this fantastic sea-side park. Below you will find several photos of the roller coasters.
