Event Details
The American Coaster Enthusiasts arrived for Fall Thrillfest at Paramount's Kings Dominion located in Dosewell, Virginia. Around 90 members of the club arrived for a fun filled day of Exclusive Ride Times and other fun activities. We arrived at 9:30 am for check in and picked up my event package with the usual tickets for entry and lunch, arm band and name badge. Into the park and a long walk across the park to the new this year Italian Job Turbo Coaster for our morning ERT session. After or morning ERT I had some time to explore the park and ride some of the other rides in the park. I was excited to finally ride HypersonicXLC a S&S Power air launched roller coaster. As part of the event the club held a contest for best score on Scoobys Haunted Mansion followed by the group picnic. With the usual buffet style lunch of chicken and BBQ sandwichs with salad and slaw. Arriving for lunch we recieved a nice goodie bag with coupons for next season, a collector pin from the Italian Job Turbo Coaster and a ticket for a free gift in which I got a Scooby Tshirt. All and all it was another great event with a light crowd and lots of Halloween stuff to boot.
