Event Details
Time for a special ride event as Holiday World auctioned off first rides on the new Voyage roller coaster to benifit the Riley Childrens Foundation. A total of 28 seats were auctioned off on EBAY for an exclusive hour of Exclusive Ride Time, a meal and a souvenir Tshirt. The final price was $202.50 for a seat on the Voyage which raised over $5600.00 for the charity. The new ride built by the Gravity Group is over a mile in length with a height around 175 feet. Since I was 4th on the winning list I was lucky enough to get my first ride in the front seat of the Voyage. During the hour of ERT I was able to get about 8 rides in the front seat and about another 8 rides in other seats. The ride is an awesome out of control experience and was a great way to start the day. Below are some photos of the Voyage roller and photos of my souvenir Tshirt from the event.
