Event Details

The troubled saga of Cypress Gardens continues with its second closing and renovation. This weekend is the last weekend to enjoy the rides section of the park. The park will close its doors for the second time in the last 4 years. The new owners of the park have decided to restructure the park again by removing all the amusement rides and animal park. They will be doing a small addition to the water park and moving the parking area to where it used to be years ago where the rides are now. So on November 17th, 2008 the park will once again close its doors. They hope to reopen in the spring of 2009. I decided to head out to the park for my last rides on some of the rides and the roller coasters and to get a ton of photos for my collection. Below you will find 100 photos from the amusement park area of Cypress Gardens including all the rides and some onride photos of some of the roller coasters.
Next up are some photos of some of the flat rides in various types from kiddie rides to thrill rides that were located through out the park.
