Event Details
Members of the Florida Coaster Club arrived for another fun filled day of rides and socializing. This years event began with a one hour Exclusive Ride Time on the Hurricane a wooden roller coaster built by the Coaster Works. The roller coaster is located at Boomers in Dania Beach, Florida just south of Ft. Lauderdale. The roller coaster has a "double out and back" design with a 90 foot tall first drop. During our ERT session I was able to get 15 rides in a row without having to leave the train. We received unlimited rides the rest of the day on the Hurricane and the members also received discounts for all other attractions at Boomers. The club was served lunch of an all you can eat pizza and drink special followed by a short club meeting. Later the club members headed over to the go cart tracks for some racing action followed by some extreme rides.
