The Kentucky Rumbler Media Day event has arrived. Over 100 members of DAFA, American Coaster Enthusiasts and Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain were invited to the press day activities at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The event began at 11 am with the ribbon cutting at the entrance to the new Kentucky Rumbler. Mr Jones, park owner and members of Great Coasters International Inc. were on hand for the days activities. After a short welcome and a quick cut of the ribbon it was time for lots of morning rides on the Rumbler. We were served lunch consisting of chicken, hot dogs, beef, chips and all you can drink. Also as part of our lunch the park showed a new release of a Discover Channel show about several new rides for the 2006 season. After lunch the park also opened up many of the other rides at the park along with many more hours of rides on the Rumbler. Below are lots of photos of the people that showed up for the event. Several photos of the other coasters at the park. Also a funny thing happend on the Dragon coaster it stalled in the middle of its circuit and park employees come out to give is a little push. There is also a link to view lots more photos of the Kentucky Rumbler from the Media Day event. Many thanks to Beech Bend Park for the invitation to the Media Day activities as everybody had a great time. CLICK HERE FOR MORE RUMBLER PHOTOS.
