Construction Update January 14th - 25th & February 8th, 2010!
Its been rumored that a new roller coaster will arrive in 2011 at Busch Gardens. There are lots of survey markers around the general area between the Skyride building and the Rhino Rally Ride. Below are some photos of the area that the coaster is suspected to be going and various survey markers are located.

All JOKING ASIDE..   Great News!!!!!!
What a great surprise after a tip about where I might track down the layout for the new roller coaster at Busch Gardens I was successful in obtaining a copy. It looks to be a multi launch coaster.

Construction Update April 1st, 2010!
Man what a great day it was yesterday as I discovered the track for the new roller coaster at Busch Gardens in Florida.  However, I pulled a simple Aprils Fools Joke. Many thanks to Lance at Screamscape for playing along and posting my photo of the new track. As you can see I did a simple color change in Photoshop by taking one of my Manta track photos and modifying the color.

Construction Update April 22nd, 2010!
So it has begun, construction walls have started to go up and equipment is on site. The railroad tracks have been removed from around where construction will take place.  A lot of new survey makers have shown up this week. So the photos this week, I wanted to show the area the coaster is going with various views from around and above the area.
The photos are general area photos and were taken in the general locations around the map or are pointing in a general area.
The photos below are just some general construction work happening for the new coaster.

Construction Update May 13th, 2010!
Lots of work has been happening over the last few weeks and looks like things are starting to take off construction wise. Lots of different types of construction equipment is now on site with lots of earth moving and land clearing. It also looks like they are ready to install some of the sheet piles for the sides of one of the trenches. It also appears they are doing a lot of electrical and water line locating.
Construction Update May 28th, 2010!
What's new this time at the new coaster work site. Lots of ground work not so much associated with the new coaster is getting done. New walkways and final work on the train tracks. Looks like its mostly other work for now. Quote of the day from a news article about the new ride. Busch Gardens has revealed that guests will "feel the spirit, feel the speed." Sounds interesting.
