Construction Update October 6th, 2010
Things are finally heating up with Cheetah Hunt. The launch tunnel and the mid tunnel are starting to get cleared of dirt. Some destruction was going on in the Rino Rally water section. Other work happening large footers are going in for the top of lift area. The first turn drop tunnel has its bases installed and some of the walls for the sides are getting installed. Some track and supports have begun to show up.

Construction Update October 13th, 2010
Cheetah Hunt
Its official the new coaster coming to Busch Gardens Tampa is called Cheetah Hunt. The new roller coaster is being designed and built by Intaride LLC. The roller coaster will feature multi launch Linear Synchronous Motors that will launch trains at speeds up to 60 m.p.h. The track color is green with yellow supports and 5 custom Cheetah trains. The coaster will be 105 feet tall with the largest drop being 130 feet into a tunnel. The track will be 4429 feet in length and produce G forces up to 4 G's. The coaster is scheduled to open in May of 2011.
Construction Update October 21st, 2010
Cheetah Hunt is moving along with tons of work happening on various sections of where the coaster is going. Around the station area lots of tunnel work has been getting done. The other tunnels are getting cleared of dirt in preparation for future track work. Back around the first section of the ride more footers have been installed and the foundation of what appears to be the second launch area. Lots of work was getting done in the Rino Rally water section area.
